Hydropower is the most established renewable energy source and there are many examples of stations with over 100 years of commercial operation. Large projects do make a significant difference to any economy but they can take a long time to develop and there are often problems along the way. Clusters of smaller schemes can be built quicker, with less risk and potentially more profitable than a single larger scheme. This has been our experience and it is transferable to many jurisdictions.

Environmental Protection and Management
Managing and protecting the aquatic and land-based habitat is essential to the long-term sustainability of any infrastructure development.
Environmental Assessments are conducted for all projects in accordance with international and local standards appropriate for the scale of the project. Aimsir aims to meet and usually exceed these standards wherever possible.
